My research in populism studies is focused on the diffusion of populism between different levels of government as well as the relationship between nationalism and populism. Other than that, my scholarly interest is also in the topic of secession. Namely, my dissertation is focused on determining the individual level determinants of secessionist preferences across differing contexts.
