Robert Huber is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salzburg. He received his dissertation entitled 'Climate Policy between Responsiveness and Responsibility' from ETH Zurich in 2019. In his dissertation, he assesses the role of populist attitudes as one potential obstacle to far-reaching climate mitigation policy. Writ large, his research focuses on globalisation-induced challenges to liberal democracy, particularly populism, economic globalisation, and climate and environmental politics. Among other things, he has published articles in Political Studies, European Journal of Political Research, Climatic Change, and Environmental Politics.
