Guillem Rico is an associate professor at the Political Science Department at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. His research interests are in the fields of political behavior and public opinion. He uses surveys and experiments to examine the interplay of affective and cognitive factors in the formation and consequences of political attitudes and preferences. His work has been published in journals such as Political Psychology, Political Behavior, and the European Journal of Political Research.
