Ebru Ece Özbey is a doctoral researcher at the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE). Her academic background is in European Studies and International Relations. Her research focuses on measuring the populist discourse among the political elite as well as investigating the mechanisms and contextual conditions for the propagation of populism. Her other research interests include radicalism, Euroscepticism, European integration, and European Union-Turkey relations.
