I am a political scientist working mainly on parties and party systems. At the Central European University, I teach comparative politics classes, on subjects such as religion and politics, political institutions, and political sociology. I am interested in identifying and contrasting different sub-types of populism. Nowadays I am working on the paradoxical phenomena of paternalist populism and populist establishment.
