Sebastian Jungkunz is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Socio-Economics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and research associate at the Centre for Political Communication at Zeppelin University. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Bamberg and his research interests include quantitative methods, social and political polarization, populism and political extremism. He specializes in public opinion surveys and is principal investigator of the project “Political and Religious Extremism: Measuring and Explaining Explicit and Implicit Attitudes” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
