Currently I am professor for Political Science at the University of Siegen. I teach political systems, especially comparative party systems, content analysis and research design. My current research focuses on the ideological polarization of party systems and a comparison of West European populist parties. Since 2011, I am also a member of the Steering Committee of the Manifesto Project – MARPOR.
